44 Days Later
On the 1st February The CCRC were given 28 days to respond to KC David Emanuel in his letter urging them to refer the case to appeal, based on all the new evidence now prominently in the public domain via the Guardian, New Yorker and even, only this weekend, The Sun.
So Jeremy, how’s that going?
They should have got back a week ago. But you know there’s no-one to hold their feet to the fire. You can’t go to a complaints department. There’s no-one there to ring up and say “what are you doing?”.
You don’t know what’s going on. You don’t know who’s dealing with it.
I know Scott (Mail on Sunday) has been ringing them up and they’ve been batting him away, “oh we don’t comment on on-going cases”.
…because you don’t do fuck all.
They’ve probably not even read it yet.
I don’t know how they get away with it.
I just think it’s the most corrupt of our organisations.

The image and caption in your blog post are perfect. Keep fighting! New legislation is needed to revamp the CCRC and make them accountable, as recommended by the Law Commission.
